Each year, The Undergraduate Women in Business (UWiB) Association follows our mission to enable the next generation of future female business leaders. The most empowering way we do this is through our scholarship fund. Our total proceeds from this fundraiser in the past five years are above $30,000, and last year we reached our goal of endowment status. This is an amazing accomplishment for our student-run organization as it now allows our fund to grow in perpetuity and ensures that future generation’s education endeavors are supported. We are excited to build on our successes this year, and we hope that you can join us.

Keynote Speaker & Woman of the Year: Beverly Wyse, Boeing Commercial Airplanes

Beverly Wyse was named vice president and general manager of the 737 program in January 2010. In this position, Wyse leads the design, development, certification, production and delivery of the Next-Generation 737 airplane family. With the launch of the 737 MAX program in August 2011, Wyse is also responsible for 737 MAX development and program integration.

Additionally, Wyse is responsible for maintaining customer relationships and for the safety and security of employees at the 737 production site in Renton, Washington, and at the Customer Delivery Center at Boeing Field in Seattle, Washington. She is also responsible for Renton site operations, property, and equipment.

Wyse joined Boeing in 1985. She has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a master's degree in business administration, both from the University of Washington in Seattle. She graduated from the Boeing Executive Development Program in 2000.
